<p>My name is Sian Jones and I am a fully qualified relationship counsellor and CBT therapist. My work is varied, and I have extensive experience supporting mixed-culture relationships, same-gender couples, and friendships.&nbsp;</p><p>When relationships aren’t working, emotions often run high and it can be difficult to see things clearly or recognise the part each partner has played. My approach is straightforward, step by step, and always non-judgemental.</p><p>I will encourage you both to talk openly about what isn’t working and why, while helping you listen carefully to one another. It’s not about agreeing with each other’s perspective, it's about understanding it. Once mutual understanding is reached, it often helps to reduce hurt, resentment, or anger that may have built up over time.</p><p>Clients often tell me I have a natural ability to put people at ease quickly. When couples feel comfortable, they can be honest, open up, and communicate more effectively. Rest assured, I won’t sit back in silence — I take an active role in guiding the conversation and supporting the process of change.</p><p>I subscribe to and work within the UKCP Code of Ethics and the BACP Ethical Framework. I regularly undertake professional development, attend supervision, and hold full professional indemnity insurance.</p>
